As we enter into September, we are seemingly still in the wraps of what can only be described as a glorious British summer.
Taking the kids to the beach to build sandcastles, sunbathing in the garden and enjoying family barbeques have given Brits plenty to smile about this summer. As temperatures have soared, the sunshine has delivered some much-needed Vitamin D!
And while we’ve all been enjoying this beautiful weather which, let’s be honest – doesn’t usually hit our shores for such an extended period – you would be forgiven for not yet giving a single thought towards Christmas! Yep…. I said THAT word!
But the reason I’m bringing up Christmas before I’ve even began to dig out my favourite winter jumper isn’t because I’m eager to feel the bitter chill of the frosty air, or because I can’t wait to open presents and indulge in many mince pies…No! It’s because this year, Christmas is bringing something extra special to Tyn Dwr Hall!
On Saturday 15th December the Hall will be full of Christmas spirit as we host our first ever, exclusive Christmas Charity Fundraising Ball that will be held in support of Hope House Children’s Hospice.
For one night only, Tyn Dwr Hall will become a grotto of fantastically-festive proportions with its idyllic setting acting as the perfect yuletide backdrop for what promises to be an evening full of joy.
With singing sensations Belle Voci joining us as special guests as well as live band The Fleet, the evening is already shaping up to be the icing on our (Christmas) cake. And with all proceeds going to Hope House Hospice, guests will be supporting an extremely worthy cause.
Hope House Hospice offers a range of services including respite and end-of-life care for terminally-ill children whilst also offering amazing support to the children’s families following their bereavement. As a mother of three, I feel that Hope House is undoubtedly the most deserving charity for us to support with this event as Christmas is a time which sees families come together to share happy, memorable moments. I believe this makes it the ideal time to acknowledge the hard work that the Hospice does. This is a time to remind us that there are many desperately unfortunate families out there who will be missing their loved ones at Christmas.
The Christmas Charity Fundraising Ball will be a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the children and their families by providing much-needed funds to Hope House Hospice.
Calling all couples that have been married at the Hall, any previous guests, our suppliers and friends; if you would like to attend the event and book a table please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, I would like to kindly invite you to make a donation if you can – however small – to this very worthy cause. This can be in form of a monetary donation, but we are also running an auction on the night and if you would like to donate a gift / prize to be added to this, we would be extremely grateful.
