Yew Tree Cottage

Yew Tree Cottage

At the heart of the outside space and perhaps the venue itself is the Yew Tree – hence the endearing on-site cottage’s name. It’s one of the oldest and largest in Wales, and people travel far and wide to see it; thus it takes centre stage, spreading its branches out over the stream, which breaks with an attractive two-tier waterfall and arched bridge.

Yew Tree Cottage sits just behind the famous tree, looking out on Woodman’s Walk and several idyllic spots your guests will love posing in, all dressed up before the big day.

Built in the 17th century, Yew Tree Cottage has recently been brought up to date with a series of refurbishments. From the outside, it’s a charming country-esque cottage with a slanted roof, and inside the quaint theme carries on – with a healthy dose of luxury.

There’s a brand new kitchen and bathroom, and the space around the cottage has been landscaped, boasting beautiful wildflowers and greenery. The bedrooms are sweet and sophisticated, and every last detail has been thought of to ensure your loved ones enjoy their stay.

The cottage is often used by the Bridal party the night before the big day, but it would also suit the Groomsmen’s party, your parents or a small family. Whatever your accommodation requirements our professional planners will be able to help you create a wedding package that’s completely yours.
