Our gates open from 12pm at the earliest. Before this time we are managing time with the couple and their plans. We ask that you look at your invitation for the best time to arrive as a later cermony may mean that the couple want you to arrive later than 12pm.
Tyn Dwr Hall is an exclusive-use wedding venue, not a hotel. The morning is dedicated to setting up every detail for the couple – from flowers to photographs. Many couples also choose to have private moments such as a “first look” before guests arrive. To make sure the couple’s day runs smoothly, we can only welcome guests from midday.
Check out is 10am except for Saturday weddings where check out is 11am.
Unfortunately, we don’t. If you’ve booked a room with us, we’ll help you check in as soon as possible. While our restrooms are beautiful, we don’t have designated dressing spaces for guests.
Prices depend on the size and style of room but start at £135 – £280. Yew Tree Cottage is around £420 but don’t forget this is for 3 bedrooms.
Additional Z-beds are around £30 which covers set up, linens and breakfast the next morning.

We have a check in space in the Snug within the main Hall. You can’s miss us! If you’re an evening guest staying over, a member of staff in the Hall will take you to the Snug to check in and get your key once you arrive.
Other than a warm and comfy space with the dreamiest pillows, we also have toiletries, towels and radios. Each room has access to tea and coffee making facilities. Hair dryers, irons and ironing boards are available on request.
So sorry but no, it’s a beautiful but small cottage and there simply isn’t room for any more in there.
Yes! Breakfast the next morning includes, cereals, pastries, hot and cold drinks to help yourselves to, then we serve toast and take your hot food order. We can offer delicious traditional Welsh breakfast options and can cater for dietary requirements and allergens.
We can for children under 16, these beds are small camp beds and not designed for adults or very tall teenagers. Please consider the comfort of your extra guest when booking a Z-bed. We charge a small amount to set up this extra bed to cover linens and breakfast.
A car parking attendant will show you where to park which will be the closest space to your booked accommodation. There is an accessible car parking space and EV charging points used on a first come first served basis.
All beds are double beds except the three main Hall suites (Bran, Carwen and Nest) and Coach House (Carrog and Dinas) which are king sized. Then two singles in the Cottage.
Yes. While we appreciate accidents happen, you are resonsible for keeping the room as you found it. Charges are outlined in the room booking process.
We ask that no smoking or vaping happens inside the venue or rooms please. You can smoke / vape at designated spaces which is outside the front door of the venue.
12pm if no Wedding has taken place the day before, otherwise 2pm. We ask that you arrive no earlier than instructed to protect all the planning for the day itself.
So sorry but once breakfast is done, we need to keep check out times strict so our cleaning team can make everything perfect for our next wedding and their guests.
We have 27 rooms in total, one of which is the Honeymoon suite for the couple. There is a variety of styles of rooms from exquisite to glamping to choose from.
The Wedding couple have access to an online booking space which you can access in this area, they will need to send you a PIN to login. From here you can see each room, how many it sleeps and you can pay for this using your bank card.
The couple may have reserved a specific room for you or other guests. If so you will see your / their name next to the room ready to book.
A nights stay in our lovely accommodation plus a delicious continental and hot Full Welsh Breakfast the following morning.
Unless the couple have a two day wedding with us then no. We are an exclusive use venue and do not have a hotel set up on days without an event. There are lovely hotels and Airbnbs all around us for extra days stays.
Four in total, two in the Hall (Beech and Elm), one Yurt (Mallard) and one in the Coach House (Nantyr).
We also have 4 children’s Z-beds which can be added into any of the 3 main suites (Hall), Beech (Hall), Holly (Hall), Pengwern (Coach House), Pandy (Coach House) plus we have 4 travel cots too which can go into any room. We simply ask that parents add their own sheeting for travel cots.
Absolutely! They come equipped with heaters, warm blankets and hot water bottles for you to warm your bed even more!
We have an ambulent room in the Coach House called Offa which has a wet room and wide spacing for a wheelchair. There are also three other ground floor rooms in the Coach House too. For specific needs please give us a call.
The Cottage has a twin room, and Carrog has a King size bed which can be split into two single beds at no extra charge if requested.
All accommodation is non-refundable. Please speak with the wedding couple to re-sell or swap your bedroom.
No we don’t except for Yew Tree Cottage. You will be so busy at the Wedding that there is limited time for watching TVs. We do have radio’s in each room, beautiful views and Wifi.
