What attracted you to the role?
I’ve always known I wanted to work within the events industry. I’m a naturally sociable and creative person, so weddings felt like the perfect fit—and I was right!

What does a typical day at Tyn Dwr Hall look like for you?
No two days are ever the same, and that’s what makes it so exciting.

On office days, I’m usually busy answering important emails from our couples, managing our amazing wedding team, and overseeing Tyn Dwr Hall’s social media and communications.

On a wedding day, though—you’ll find me right at the heart of the action. I’m there with the couple from start to finish, making sure everything runs perfectly. From dramatic dress fluffing and bustling behind-the-scenes details to hyping up the first dance, I’m by their side making sure they’re having the best day of their lives.

What is your favourite part of the job?
Being part of the best day of people’s lives—again and again. It’s a privilege I never take for granted.

Can you share a memorable experience or event you’ve been part of here?
One of the most emotional moments I’ve been part of was when we were finally able to celebrate weddings properly again post-Covid lockdown.

Watching people reunite, hug their family members, and finally let go and enjoy a proper celebration together… it was just magic.

What do you believe sets Tyn Dwr Hall apart from other wedding venues?
The Garden Room views—you simply won’t get that anywhere else. It’s absolutely breathtaking and gives every celebration an unforgettable backdrop.

How do you contribute to creating a magical experience for our couples?
I’m there from start to finish. Each couple is allocated a dedicated wedding manager six months before their big day, and from that moment on, I’m part of their journey.

We meet, we plan, and we chat through every little detail—and then on the day, I’m there from morning until night, making sure everything happens just as they imagined.

In some cases, I’ve even worked with couples from their very first viewing all the way through to the day after the wedding. It’s such a special bond we build together.

What is your favourite feature or spot within Tyn Dwr Hall, and why?
The Yew Tree Swing! It’s a must-have photo opportunity that brings a touch of fun to the day. It always makes for a joyful, natural moment, and the photos are just gorgeous.

Can you describe the atmosphere at Tyn Dwr Hall during a wedding?
It’s full of love and laughter. There’s a wonderful sense of warmth, and we do everything we can to make sure every guest feels relaxed and happy.

What do you enjoy most about working with the Tyn Dwr Hall team?
Having been here for such a long time, I’ve worked with many different teams over the years. What I love most is that regardless of department, every team member pulls together to create the perfect day for each couple.

There’s a real sense of unity behind the scenes—and that makes all the difference.

How do you ensure your role is tailored to the couple’s vision?
In the lead-up to the wedding, I take the time to learn every single detail. From timings to special ring bearers and unique speeches, it’s my job to make sure it all happens exactly as planned.

On the day, I’m their right-hand woman—their cheerleader, organiser, and calming presence. I make sure they have everything they need, often before they even know they need it.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall?
Don’t plan your wedding for other people. Do what makes you happy, eat the food you want to eat, and go all in on the things that matter most to you.
