How long have you worked for Tyn Dwr Hall?
From the beginning, in 2016.

What attracted you to the role?
The thought of creating something beautiful, alongside my family.

What does a typical day at Tyn Dwr Hall look like for you?
Every day is different, which is what makes it so enjoyable. From speaking with Heads of Department about upcoming events, to chatting with our lovely suppliers and meeting our wonderful couples, my day can vary so much.

On wedding days, however, my time and attention are completely devoted to the couple. I greet their family and guests and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

What is your favourite part of the job?
If I had to narrow it down to just one thing, it would be making sure all of our guests are happy—it might sound cliché, but it truly means everything.

Every wedding is different, and exceeding expectations gives me the motivation to keep improving all the time.

Can you share a memorable experience or event you’ve been part of here?
I love how each wedding day becomes a big part of a couple’s story. It’s not just an event for us—our guests feel like family, and we become part of their circle.

Once, during the best man’s speech, he announced that all of the guests had secretly contributed to a honeymoon in the Maldives for the couple. It brought them both to tears. It was such a beautiful moment and just shows how much love and thought guests put into their experience together.

What do you believe sets Tyn Dwr Hall apart from other wedding venues?
Our team and our venue.

Every single team member goes out of their way to provide exceptional service.

And when I say that Tyn Dwr Hall is spectacular, I mean it. The estate is so beautiful—from the gardens to the cottage, coach house and, of course, the Hall itself—it’s truly special.

How do you contribute to creating a magical experience for our couples?
We take the time to get to know our couples and truly understand their wishes. That knowledge allows us to tailor each experience to suit them perfectly. This level of personal investment is what helps create such meaningful, memorable weddings.

What is your favourite feature or spot within Tyn Dwr Hall, and why?
The view from the Garden Room—it’s just unbelievable. Even after nine years, it still takes my breath away.

It’s where the wedding breakfast is held, and the views across the Welsh countryside are spectacular, no matter the season.

Can you describe the atmosphere at Tyn Dwr Hall during a wedding?
We work hard to ensure our couples feel confident in our team before the big day arrives. That trust allows them to truly relax and enjoy every moment.

A calm couple, knowing that everything is under control, helps to create an atmosphere filled with love and laughter.

What do you enjoy most about working with the Tyn Dwr Hall team?
Being part of such a fantastic, family-led team. We’re incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people around us.

How do you ensure your role is tailored to the couple’s vision?
We go to great lengths to understand each couple’s needs well in advance of their wedding day.

Every couple is assigned their own personal wedding manager, who then shares their wishes with me and the rest of the management team in our weekly planning meetings.

That gives me a clear picture of what’s needed to bring their vision to life and ensures every detail is considered.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall?
As a bit of a control obsessive myself, I’d say—try to relinquish the running of the wedding day into our safe hands.

It’s so important to take time together and enjoy the day you’ve dreamed of. After months (or years) of careful planning, please trust our team to bring it all to life and give you the best day filled with wonderful memories.
