How long have you worked at Tyn Dwr Hall?
I originally joined the team in Housekeeping, where I worked for around five years. Just over a year ago, I became part of the Wedding Team, and I’ve loved every moment since.

What attracted you to the role?
Watching so many people experience magical days filled with love, laughter and joy made me want to be part of that magic. I knew I wanted to help create those unforgettable memories for others.

What does a typical day look like for you?
Every day is different, but most are spent speaking with our wonderful couples—both those already booked and those newly discovering us. I walk them through everything Tyn Dwr Hall has to offer, helping them visualise just how special their day could be here.

What’s your favourite part of the job?
Without a doubt, it’s getting to know each couple and being part of their journey. It’s such a privilege to help bring their vision to life and give them the best day of their lives.

Can you share a memorable moment from a wedding?
One groom had the most incredible surprise planned for his father. He secretly arranged for his dad’s biological mother and sister to attend the wedding. The groom gathered his parents, then in walked the two guests. His dad was overwhelmed and burst into tears—it was such a moving and beautiful moment that I’ll never forget.

What makes Tyn Dwr Hall stand out from other venues?
The people. Our team truly goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special and every couple feel celebrated. We’re all driven by a shared passion to create unforgettable wedding days, and I think that shines through in everything we do.

How do you help create a magical experience for couples?
By being their guide, their coordinator, and their calm throughout the day. I’m there to make sure everything runs smoothly so that they can focus on soaking up every magical moment.

What’s your favourite spot at Tyn Dwr Hall?
The swing under the ancient Yew Tree in front of Yew Tree Cottage. It’s a peaceful, enchanting place that everyone seems drawn to—kids, adults, photographers alike. There’s something special about it, almost like it has its own magic.

How would you describe the atmosphere during a wedding?
Joyful, relaxed and full of love. There’s a real sense of togetherness that fills the whole building.

What do you enjoy most about working with the team at Tyn Dwr Hall?
We’re like a little family—and we treat our couples like family too. There’s always laughter, teamwork, and a shared goal: to make each wedding perfect.

How do you tailor your role to suit each couple?
I take the time to really get to know them. Once that relationship is built, they trust me—and that’s when the magic happens. I can make decisions with confidence because I understand what matters most to them.

What advice would you give to couples planning their Tyn Dwr Hall wedding?
Trust your wedding manager. We’ve done this hundreds of times and know what works. But more importantly, we’re here to support you, guide you, and make your dream day a reality.
