At Tyn Dwr Hall, we’re proud to say yes to personality, creativity, and ideas that make your celebration feel like you. Whether it’s the music, the menu, or the moment you walk down the aisle, we believe weddings should be personal – not prescribed.

But (and this is important), we also know when to gently say no. Not because we want to limit you – but because we want your day to flow beautifully, feel incredible for your guests, and be safe, seamless, and unforgettable.

Here’s where we flex – and where we don’t – and why that balance matters.

Where we love to say yes

You’d be amazed how many times we’ve said, “Yes, let’s do it.” That’s because we’re not here to put rules around your imagination. We’re here to help you bring it to life in a way that works.

Decor
Love disco balls? Want a vintage library vibe? Boho botanicals or bold colour explosions? Go for it. You can style the venue to reflect your story (within safe setup guidelines, of course), and we’re here to help you make it work in the space.

Suppliers
We don’t limit you to an exclusive list. Your photographer, florist, celebrant, DJ – it’s your choice. We’re always happy to recommend brilliant people we trust, but if you’ve got someone in mind, we’ll welcome them in.

Ceremonies
Civil? Celebrant? Interfaith? Intimate or inclusive? However you want to honour your commitment, we’ll help you make it meaningful. We’ve hosted every kind of ceremony imaginable – and they all have one thing in common: they reflect the couple.

Ideas & traditions
Want to surprise your guests with a first look, a flash mob, or a musical entrance? Thinking of carrying a bouquet made of brooches or walking down the aisle together? We’ll support your ideas with open minds and honest feedback.

Timings
Weddings flow for a reason. Food needs to be served at its best. Guests need time to move comfortably between moments. Our team coordinates everything behind the scenes so it feels effortless – but that’s only possible when we all keep to the plan.

Enough food & drink
We don’t do under-catering. Guests remember if they felt well-fed, hydrated and looked after. We’ll help you manage your budget smartly – but cutting out meals or drinks is never the answer. We promise – this is one of the easiest ways to keep the day happy.

Health & safety
We know it’s not the most glamorous part of planning, but it matters. If we say no to fireworks, open flames, sky lanterns or certain layouts, it’s not about restriction – it’s about protecting you, your guests, and our historic venue.
