Managing Accommodation for Your Wedding Day

Don’t stress — we’ve made it easy

Accommodation is one of those wedding details that can cause unnecessary panic. Who gets which room? Do we need to organise it all ourselves? What if someone is disappointed?

Breathe. You don’t need to worry.
At Tyn Dwr Hall, we’ve made managing accommodation as simple and stress-free as possible.

How It Works

  • You’ll receive a complimentary suite for the night of your wedding — choose from Carwen, Nest, or Bran. The other two become a wonderful treat for VIP guests of your choice.

  • You’ll also be given a personal accommodation website to share with guests. This allows them to see all available rooms, view details, and book directly. You can also add menus, gift ideas and pictures here and it has directions and a link to guest FAQS too.

You’re in control — but you’re not alone. We’ve done the heavy lifting to make it easy for everyone.

Three Ways to Manage Your Guest Accommodation

Every couple is different, so we’ve created three easy ways to handle the rest of your rooms:

1. Treat Your Guests

Want to pay for some (or all) of the rooms as a gift to friends or family? Just let us know which ones, and we’ll add the cost to your final wedding balance. A generous gesture, made simple.

2. Assign Rooms Yourself

Prefer to match guests to specific rooms? You can add names to individual rooms via your online system. Then, just send the accommodation link to everyone — and the guests whose names are listed can select and pay for their room directly.

3. Let Guests Choose for Themselves

Want to keep things hands-off? No problem. Share your accommodation link and let guests choose and book the room that suits them. Everything updates in real time, so they’ll see exactly what’s available.

Key Info to Know

  • All rooms are doubles, except:

    • 1 twin room in the Cottage

    • 4 family rooms (2 adults + up to 2 children)

  • We can add up to 4 extra Z-beds in larger rooms for children

  • The Coach House has 4 ground floor rooms — including one ambulent access room with a sit-down shower

  • The two remaining suites in the Hall (from your complimentary selection), plus Dinas and Pandy in the Coach House, are ideal for parents or special guests

  • The Cottage is perfect for a group of friends or a family. It includes three bedrooms, a cosy living area and kitchen, a bathroom upstairs and a downstairs loo. It’s a charming 16th-century space — rustic and low-ceilinged, so maybe avoid allocating it to your tallest guests!

A Note About the Yurts

Our beautiful Yurts offer a little extra adventure — with full comfort and style. They’re only a short walk from the Hall via a slightly inclined path. It’s not a hill (we promise!) — and the whole route is lit for a safe and easy stroll back after the dancing winds down.

Final Thoughts

There’s no perfect formula for room assignments — and you don’t need to worry too much about who ends up where.

Some couples like to organise every room themselves. Others hand it over entirely to their guests. Whichever route feels right, we’ve built a system to support you and your day. On the website it has images of each room and a description of where it is so your guest can relax and make the right decision for them.

So don’t stress. We’ll help you manage accommodation in a way that suits you — with thoughtful options, helpful tech, and beautiful places for everyone to stay.
