We’ll begin at the very start of your special day…
You’ve visited, you’ve planned, you’ve probably cried… but the big day is finally here!
Whilst bridal preparations are underway, our team will be there to look after both you and your guests.
Our team will be ready and waiting. Our Head Druid Geraint (Dad and Taid to our family), is full of interesting facts about the hall and its history, but don’t get him started as he doesn’t know when to stop.
Your guests can head inside and enjoy a drink in the Dickens Bar, perhaps a personalised cocktail or two! The Groomsmen will get some photo opportunities here with a cheeky one to calm the nerves. Guests can then take a seat in one of the many reception rooms, our beautiful roaring fire will keep them warm in the cooler months, we’re lucky that so many original features still exist today.
If the weather is nice the south facing terrace is a fabulous spot to take in the panoramic views and enjoy the gardens, and so much outside space for little ones to explore. We once even had a duck race in our little stream. You could organise our Terrace Bar for your guests to help themselves, Gin? Pimms? Bottled Beer? We’ll take all three!
Whilst the cerebrations are starting downstairs, use our dressing room to relax prior to your big moment. Usually the hive of activity on the morning of a wedding, there’s hair to be blow dried, lips to be painted and a beautiful dress just waiting for you to slide into. Our beautiful Dressing Room is a place where the Bridal party, hair dressers and make-up artists work their magic in preparation for the day ahead. Quietly tucked away, it’s a safe haven for you and your friends to enjoy together, whilst keeping an eye on the guests arriving.
