We met in the most traditional way, swiping right on tinder. We have been together over 10 years. We got engaged in Rome. The best part of planning the wedding was the support our wedding manager gave us.
Where did you hear about Tyn Dwr Hall?
Nicole saw a wedding open-day on social media.
What were your first impression of the Hall?
Nicole - Beautiful venue, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and could see our wedding there. Toby - Nicole said she wanted to get married here, so naturally I agreed.

Who was your Wedding manager and how did they help you in the run up to the wedding and on the day?
Amy was always available and professional throughout. She liaised with the suppliers well and made sure that the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Our regular meetings with Amy helped reduce the stress pre-wedding as we knew and trusted that everything had been thought of.
What did you enjoy most about planning your wedding with us?
How calming and professional the staff are. They made it feel like we could have anything that we wanted. We trusted them to know how to make the biggest day of our lives would be special.
What are the best spots for Tyn Dwr Hall photo opportunities?
The gardens and grounds (swing), entrance hall (stairs) and dance floor.
How did you find the Tyn Dwr team on your wedding day? Did anyone stand out to you?
All were amazing, couldn't fault anyone. All the staff were so professional. Guests commented on staff and that they'd not been to a venue like Tyn Dwr before.
What set Tyn Dwr Hall apart from other wedding venues?
It stands out over all that we had seen, from the architecture of the buildings and impressive gardens. But the biggest stand out were the team at the venue.
Tell us more about your Tyn Dwr Hall wedding day! When did you start your preparations?
We'd been planning the day for over 2 years. We wanted to give ourselves time to make sure the day was everything that we wanted.
How did you choose to style your Wedding Day? Did you choose a wedding theme or feel?
We went for a natural / minimalistic theme, this is what we are like as people but we also didn't want to detract from the building and grounds natural beauty.
What was your Wedding Menu and why did you make those choices? Any favourites on the day?
Wedding menu changed after we had our taster, we chose a main that we wouldn't normally go for. But on the tasting event, it stood out and we felt our guests would appreciate it. Overall, the food and drinks were faultless.
Most Memorable moment?
Nicole - saying our vows in front of our friends and family.
Toby - First seeing Nicole walking down the aisle.
What handy tips would you give couples planning their wedding day?
Nicole - Last 30 minutes will be chaos, no matter how much you plan for that not to happen. Prepare your wedding bag the night before and add in any comfort things for your shoes the night before (you won't have time in the morning). Don't feel disheartened if you're tired and need to go to bed, you've been planning this day for a long time.
Toby – Practice your speech and don’t be afraid to shed a tear. Also, don’t drink too much the night before!
