Sian and Andrew met in Aberystwyth where they both attended Aberystwyth University. They were together six years when they got married at Tyn Dwr Hall, describing the day as absolutely perfect. Andrew proposed at home and then they enjoyed a beautiful lunch (and lots of champagne!) at their favourite restaurant. Sian’s parents surprised the couple by joining them after lunch.
The couple decided Tyn Dwr Hall was the venue for them as soon as they visited, describing it as ‘the most perfect venue we had both ever seen!’ The pair enjoyed visiting in the run up to the wedding and meeting with Wedding Manager Becky, to discuss the preparations for the big day.
We had visited a few venues and we just did not get the ‘feeling’ that everyone tells you about. I was then searching Instagram and Tyn Dwr Hall popped up as a link. As soon as I saw the photographs, I knew that we had to visit. We arranged a viewing the next day and knew straight away that it was the wedding venue for us!
We started preparations a month after we got engaged.
Sian was most nervous about walking down the aisle and Andrew was nervous about the speeches.
I (Sian) loved everything about Andrew’s speech as it had us all laughing and crying throughout.
Andrew – first dance Sian – same and also hitting the dance floor (thanks to Uplit for our fab dance floor) after the dinner. I loved the speeches and being surrounded by our family and friends having the best day of our lives.
Brides – Bring flip flops for the dancefloor!
